Join the Housing Committee

The Harbor Beach Planning Commission’s Housing Committee is now accepting applications for membership.

Our mission is to identify and recommend effective strategies to expand the availability and diversity of housing within the Harbor Beach city limits. The committee’s findings and proposals will be presented to the Planning Commission for review and potential adoption.

We encourage applications from residents with experience or expertise in the housing and building sectors such as realtors, builders, lenders, and employers, as well as individuals who represent groups most impacted by local housing challenges, including young adults and seniors.

Membership opportunities are limited, and all committee members must be approved by the Planning Commission prior to the committee’s first meeting.

We look forward to welcoming engaged community members who are ready to help shape the future of housing in Harbor Beach.
